HOW WE BECAME THE HAZYS

At the start of 2023 Asher Hammat formed the band known as the friends. First kicking off their first set at Asher’s EP launch for ‘From the inside’ at the fabulous Rhino Room. Since then, the band have evolved even further adding four vocal voicings of harmonies which create a beautiful, rich flavor to their performances, groovy lead and bass lines and some kick ass drums.

Once the band developed and played more, there was a realization than this was more than a solo act, which is when they realized they wanted to from a full band, which is now known as THE HAZYS
